Girl Scout Program for 2nd and 3rd Grade Girls

These are critical times in the development of our children in New York City and as adults, we need to give them the support, enrichment and social outlet they need. As more programs are cut from our schools, our children are losing out. As a parent or guardian at the Muslim Center of New York, we have the opportunity to help shape the future of our children. This is exactly what the Girl Scout program provides: so we started our after school Girl Scout Program on February 8, 2018. A fun, safe and educational experience outside of their classrooms is provided from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm each Thurday.

At Girl Scouts, girls discover who they are, where their talents lie, and about what they care most. They connect with people in their communities and they take action to change the world. Through our program, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls develop a strong sense of self, display positive values, and seek challenges.
